LEF left out of fundraiser
You may have seen the aloft/Elements Hotels advertisement for an event called a "Taste of Lexington" to benefit The Lexington Education Foundation. We are writing to let the community know that this event was planned and promoted without LEF's knowledge, permission or authorization.
We would like to make clear that LEF is not the co-sponsor of the event which coincides with a major religious holiday. We also want let our many community supporters know that this is not a substitute for our annual Spring Gala which will be held March 27, 2010 at the Weston Waltham Hotel.
While The Lexington Education Foundation is extremely grateful for the generous support of local businesses and individuals, we have asked aloft/Elements Hotels to select another beneficiary for this event.
