Lexington’s most lively and elegant fundraising event, Educated Tastes is a party, a celebration and a fundraiser, all rolled into one evening. It’s an opportunity to join with old and new friends and sample food from some of the area’s best restaurants and caterers – all while celebrating excellence in public education. All proceeds from Educated Tastes benefit the Lexington Education Foundation’s grant and fellowship programs to enrich education for the students in Lexington Public Schools.

Always an extremely popular event, Educated Tastes sells out every year. Attendees enjoy:
  • A cornucopia of hors d’oeuvres, entrees and desserts - from maple-bourbon glazed sea scallops to navratan korma, Maine crab cakes to pear-cranberry crisp, there’s something to delight everyone’s palate.
  • A lively auction featuring items such as trips, spa visits, cooking lessons, sports and theater tickets, dinner in local restaurants and more.
  • Performances by the Lexington Jazz Combo.

Since 1990, Educated Tastes has been made possible through the efforts of volunteers and the warm spirit of generosity from donors. We hope you’ll join us!
