When you donate $25 or more to
the Lexington Education Foundation’s Staff Teacher
Appreciation and Recognition (STAR) program, we send a
handsome certificate to the teacher you wish to honor. The
certificate includes your name without specifying the dollar
amount of the gift.
STAR certificates tell your favorite teachers you appreciate
them in a way that benefits all the children of Lexington.
Since 1989, the Lexington Education Foundation’s partnership with
the Lexington Public Schools and our community has provided more
than $3.6 million in grants across all disciplines: enriching
math and science skills, improving literacy, promoting 21st century
technology, supporting the arts, enhancing social competency,
and providing professional development for teachers.
